Just returned from the pub and I'm absolutely gutted. We so should have won.

Here's what Thierry Henry had to say:

"I was kicked all over the place. Carles Puyol and Rafael Marquez should have got yellow cards," he said.

"To defend against me with a yellow card - it's not the same game any more. I expected the referee to do his job. I don't think he did."

Of his future at Arsenal, Henry added: "I'll start to think about it tonight."

But Henry said he was proud of Arsenal's efforts.

"Everyone was talking about Ronaldinho before the game. I didn't see him today or and I didn't see Eto'o," he said.

"Henrik Larsson made the difference by setting up two goals. That was the key.

"We can be proud, we can be more than proud but I'm sorry, some of the refereeing today was horrendous."

Arsene Wenger said:

"The referee made a big mistake at a crucial moment - their first goal was offside.

"The way we lost is very difficult to take because we played fantastically, like we have the whole European season.

"But in the final, people only remember the team that has won."

I really thought we could do it but in the end, only the referee won. :-(

Let's get things started!

Hello! Went to the IITT conference in Warwick yesterday and Clive Shepherd did his spot on Wikis, blogs and podcasts. All sounded very interesting and as an IT trainer who wants to keep his finger on the pulse I thought I'd have a go! So here I am!

What kind of things am I going to be posting? Not sure really! Let's see:

I work for the local council and train on a regular basis so comments after training sessions might be a start.

Massive Arsenal fan and will be watching the boys perform in Paris tonight so there may be a posting or 2 after that.

Play golf (enthusiastic amateur!) so could put postings after playing.

Read lots, currently reading "Lucia in London" by EF Benson, so book reviews could work.

Watch lots of movies, hoping to see MI3 this weekend.

Actually might be able to post more regularly than I thought :-)

Anyway, if you're interested keep coming by and let's see how it goes!
